About Our Sites

We Welcome You To Enjoy Your Vacation With Us On The Beautiful Coast Of Maine.

 

 

Electrical Service- We offer sites with 20 and 30 amp power. Your cords must be original equipment or #10 wire with 30 amps and #12 with 20 amps. #14 and #16 wire must not be used with our services.

 

Water Service- We offer sites with water hookup. Water is precious. Use only what you need. Do not let your child play at the water spigots. You may not use our water to wash vehicles, campers, boats, or trailers.

 

Sewer Service- We do not offer sewer hookup. We do have a dump station however there is no dumping on arrival. Your rental fee includes one dump every third day. Larger RV's and trailers staying less than three days must pay to dump. "Blue Wagons" may be used at Lobster Buoy only with the utmost care. Absolutely No Gray or Black Water may spill on the ground. This is state law. We reserve the right to inspect your blue wagon, grey water buckets, and hoses. If they are found to be leaking they must be corrected at once or you will be asked to leave, without refund.

 

Garbage- Disposal site is situated for your convenience. Please bag all garbage securely and place in our garbage cans. Whenever possible burn your paper and cardboard in your fire-rings. Why waste trees!? Crush plastic containers and cardboard to save space. Leave only your normal camping garbage. NO broken equipment, hazardous substances, or styrofoam packing materials. If you are planning a cookout and need a garbage can please ask at the office.

 

Returnables- Should be placed in the appropriate containers near the garbage disposal site or taken with you.

 

Speed Limit- 5 mph for all vehicles including bicycles. Motorcycles, and mopeds may be used in the campsite as transportation to and from your sites only. No ATV's allowed. Remember that your are driving in an area where young and old alike are sharing the road with you. Bicycles must be walked not ridden down the hill.

 

Visitors- All visitors Must register and pay scheduled fees before entering the campsite. Only four visitors per site unless otherwise arranged. Only one vehicle is to be parked on a site. All extra vehicles must be parked in our parking area. 

 

Campfires- Must be kept small and in your fire-ring. Never leave your campfire unattended. Burn your fires completely or clean your fire-ring before leaving. Do Not bring in firewood from out of state, that has nails, paint, or other unnatural substances. The fire-rings must not be moved.

 

Children- Must be supervised at all times. Never allow young children off your site unless you are with them. All children must be on their site during quiet hours.

 

Dogs-We allow one dog per site. Your dog must be kept leashed or in your camper at all times. Your dog must never be left unattended. A barking dog is not welcomed by other campers. You will be asked to take him out of the campsite if there are any complaints. You must completely clean up after your dog in the campsite, on the beach, or on the town roads. Always carry appropriate scooping equipment when when walking your dog. Adults, not children, must walk dogs. Every year fewer campgrounds are allowing dogs. Please help us continue to welcome your family pet.

 

Quiet Hours- Are from 10 P.M. - 8 A.M.  A radio or other sound equipment is allowed only if it can not be heard in neighboring sites. Anyone who disturbs other campers or is destructive to the premises will be asked to leave at once Without refund.

 

Guests in our rental units and our seasonal campers- are expected to comply with all campsite rules. We do not allow air conditioners, generators, or electric heaters.

 

Refunds- No refunds of deposits. No refunds if you leave early.

 

Office Hours- Are 8 A.M.- 7 P.M.  We will take messages for you but cannot deliver them. If you are expecting a message, please check at the office.

 

You are leaving the premises of Lobster Buoy Campsites if you go on the beach.

Any use is entirely at your own risk.
